I turn "this is a nightmare" into "why didn't we do this sooner?"

I'm running a double degree in Munich: physics at TUM, mathematics at LMU. Somewhere between Lagrangians and loss functions I realised the same instinct, find the hidden structure, then exploit it, drives both fields.

By day I work on machine learning at Tools for Humanity, the team behind World: proof of personhood for an internet about to be flooded with AI. It's a rare problem where physics-grade rigor meets stakes that actually matter.

In 2022 I moved to Germany and started learning German from scratch. Last year the physics department at TUM gave me the Golden Chalk for the best tutorial: one tutor a year, and that year it was mine, for a class I taught in German. Going from zero German to teaching in it is the best proof I have that 'impossible' usually just means 'unfamiliar', and it's the one I'm proudest of.
